You know a brand is good when you have been using it your whole life. Ok... my whole entire life may be a bit of an exaggeration, but its been a solid amount of time. I first discovered Kenra Professional products when I was 10 years old. My mom would take me to her hair dresser and I would insist on my finished style to be a zig-zag part with braids (very 90's/ early 2000's I know), but then I discovered blow outs. The discovery of a hair dryer and flat iron pushed me straight down Alice's rabbit hole. I have very curly hair and as a child I was never to fond of it. Classic case of want what you don't have, even though I had amazing curls (Listen I was a child who wanted cool straight hair, stop yelling at me).The first time my mom's hair dresser ever blew out my hair it was so straight and sleek and yes, I felt like the coolest kid in class. From there on out I wanted my hair to always be straight and loved when the hair dresser would put the magic good smelling products in my hair. As you might have guessed, those good smelling products were none other than Kenra Professional. Flash forward to now being and adult and professional stylist myself, Kenra products are a staple in my hair arsenal. Now with any hair care line there are always some products that shine more than others. I can confidently say that I never 100% love an entire line of products. Every brand has their strong suit, Kenra's is styling products. The products I am going to introduce to you I truly love. They serve me well for personal styling to on set to weddings. You truly can't go wrong with these products.
You can't see me, but I have both my hands up in the air praising this product. It is SO GOOD! This is the type of product where you venture off to try new things but always come back to it. The light weight formula will smooth and soften your hair without weighing it down. It will also aid you in the battle against the sworn enemies, eliminating frizz and resisting humidity. If one of your main concerns is heat damage, this product will cover you on that front line as well. The formulation provides intense heat protection and will cut down on damage and breakage. You can also easily pair this product with any other pre styling products, but its just a good on its own.
When using this product, I section off my hair as I would when blow drying it and spray it onto damp hair. Then I proceed with my blow drying routine as usual. The blow dry spray claims to cut down your blow dry by 50%, which is quite the statement and a lot to live up to. For all you skeptics out there, this product lives up to its description. I notice a huge difference in the time I spend blow drying my hair. For you ladies (or guys) who like a quick styling routine or tend to always be in a rush, this products is your time saver.

A spray that everyone can benefit from in my opinion. This product is going to be your flexible hair spray with obviously, medium hold. I would ideally use this product to tame fly aways and heat styled hair such as curls, waves, straightening etc.. You can use this hair spray for any styling but those are typically my go to styles to use this for. It provides a controlled style with out it being stiff, making it easy to work with the hair after its been applied. This product can easily be brushed out on the second day, without any hair spray residue left behind. You can also expect a high shine finish with this product. Overall, this is going to be your universal hair spray in your collection.

With every flexible hair spray you need to have the heavy duty, not moving for the strongest of storms, hair spray. The Volume spray 25 will provide that extreme hold up to 120 hours of wear. It is flake free, fast drying and has 24 hour humidity resistance. It does all this while keeping a natural, high shine finish on the hair. For those of you who love a good 80's hair style or are convinced the higher the hair the closer you are to heaven, Volume spray is your best friend. Simply section off your hair add a little teasing and spray to lock that volume into place. I use this product on all my bridal updos, slicked back styles and any situations where I need styles to stay in place for long periods of time.
As a side note, the nozzle on this product is notorious for getting clogged. Just make sure to wipe it off frequently or rinse under hot water.

I am extremely picking with my dry shampoos. With that being said I have two categories that I put dry Shampoo into; Styling and refreshing the hair. If you are looking for a product to absorb the oils, not wash your hair for week and have it not feel loaded with product, this is not it. On the other hand if you are look for a product to add some volume and texture to better hold a style, than this is it. I like using this product for updo's and styling where I need volume, hold and longevity. This dry shampoo is great to apply at the roots and add some light teasing. It pairs really well with the volume spray 25 for that extra reassurance.

Hot spray is a must to prep the hair before going in with a curling iron, flat iron or dare I say a crimper? If you have hard to curl hair or your style just never holds, this may be a game changer for you. Hot Spray is a thermal heat protectant that also provides a firm hold. It will protect your hair from heat and the UV rays preventing damage. When using this product, I section the hair as I would when I curl it. I spray each section with product, brush it through and wait for it to dry. I wouldn't recommend spraying the section then immediately taking your iron to the hair. The iron will get product residue all over it and your hair will steam and sizzle from the heat. We don't want that.

Who doesn't love a good dry texture spray? The beauty market is saturated with so many different texture sprays, it's a challenge in its self to sift through them all. After my fair share of testing out different ones, this one is always the first place holder. This dry texture spray is extremely light weight. You can liberally spray this into your hair, it extremely fool proof. It adds flexible hold and just the right amount of grit to keep your waves looking beachy and add fullness to your ponytail.
